Baertur – Use Your Illusion by Baertur

Yes, this time it’s actually true. I’m aware that I promised you a new single in November, but you know…music business…
Anyway, the new track, called ‘Use Your Illusion’, is pretty much ready now. We’re just gonna make a nice music video, but that will happen during the next days. I presume the actual release date will be January 24th, unless something fucks up in the last minute.
I was lucky enough to be joined in the studio by the brilliant Eirik Moberg from label mates Denga Denga. He wrote the lyrics, and he’s singing them too.
What else? Yes, the track is gonna be FREE! I don’t think I’ll bother run it through the official distro systems and all that, so I’ll just put it up on Soundcloud or something.

Baertur will perform at this year’s Øya Festival in Oslo. ‘Øya’ means ‘island’ in norwegian, however the festival is not situated on an island… It’s in the middle of the city. Don’t ask..
Anyway, we’ll play on the ‘club day’, which means the gig will happen at club Mono, not on the actual festival site. The date is August 9th, and we’re on at 21:00. Seeya there!
